The who's who of HR executive tech moves.

Pluralsight

Pluralsight, the technology workforce development company, today announced the appointment of Lisa Luscap as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As CMO, Luscap will be responsible for leading all aspects of Pluralsight's marketing including brand and communications, global demand generation, field marketing, product marketing and marketing operations. Reporting to Pluralsight co-founder and CEO Aaron Skonnard, Luscap was selected to lead Pluralsight's marketing efforts after serving as interim CMO and, prior to that, SVP of Digital Marketing and Self Service.

Lisa joined the Pluralsight team in early 2023 with more than 20 years of marketing experience in the tech industry at organizations like Snowflake, Dolby Laboratories, VMware, and HP. Prior to working with Pluralsight, Lisa led a global marketing team during Snowflake's IPO where she managed the largest software public offering in history. Additionally, she held a pivotal role in the digital rebrand of Dolby Laboratories, reintroducing the company to a new market of buyers around the world through a global partnership with AMC theaters.

Ceridian

Ceridian HCM Holding Inc., a global leader in human capital management (HCM), today announced the appointments of Jeremy Johnson as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2024, and Justine Janssen as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), effective immediately. Johnson and Janssen are both former Ceridian executives, returning in new roles to strengthen Ceridian’s executive leadership team and enable continued growth and innovation. Both roles report directly into David Ossip, Chair and Chief Executive Officer.

“Jeremy and Justine’s return to Ceridian, both in critical growth roles, will help us further realize our vision as a global HCM leader, innovator, and disruptor,” said Ossip. “Widely respected and accomplished leaders, Justine and Jeremy will continue to build on our rock-solid foundation, elevating the already strong work of our people and supporting Ceridian’s growth, business targets, and customer needs.”

TalentNeuron

TalentNeuron a  leading provider of labor market analytics, recently brought in three new industry veterans to its executive team to ramp up its overall growth and innovation strategy. The company was part of the Gartner brand up until earlier this year and the new executives bring decades of experience to the TalentNeuron team. Here’s the new additions: 

Bijoy Verghese, chief financial officer  

  • With more than 15 years of strategic leadership experience in complex global business environments, Bijoy has previous served in roles with Ivanti, Rent.com and Warner Brothers.  

Jason Roberts, chief operating officer  

  • With more than 25 years of software and service experience, Jason has led the operations of SaaS companies in the EdTech, insurance and staffing industries with a key focus on customer lifecycle and delivering customer value.   

David Wilkins, vice president of marketing  

  • With more than 20 years of marketing, thought leadership and product strategy experience in the human capital management industry, David’s past roles have included head of Taleo Research and chief marketing and strategy officer at HealthcareSource. 

HireRight

HireRight, a provider of global background screening services and workforce solutions, is pleased to announce that Stephen Spears has taken over the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at HireRight with immediate effect. His appointment follows the retirement of Steve Girdler, the company’s previous CRO, who will be staying on with the company in an advisory capacity until early 2024.

Reporting to HireRight President and CEO, Guy Abramo, Mr. Spears will lead HireRight’s Go-to-Market and Customer Service organization, with a focus on leading the company’s long-term competitive strategy and initiatives to drive growth and support customer retention.

The Muse

The Muse, a leading job search and career development platform serving tens of millions of job seekers and hundreds of growing companies, today announced it has hired veteran HR tech marketing leader Chris Atkins former Chief Marketing Officer at PandoLogic, as Senior VP of B2B Marketing.

In this new role for The Muse, reporting directly to CEO Heather Tenuto and working alongside new appointed SVP of Sales Todd Brengel, Atkins will serve as a catalyst for growth by developing the B2B marketing team and demand-generation strategy to advance brand awareness and drive pipeline growth for The Muse's suite of talent acquisition solutions that help employers find the best-fit talent. 

Harri

Harri, the Frontline Employee Experience platform serving over 35,000 restaurant and hotel locations and four million hospitality employees globally, today shared that Quincy Valencia has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Innovation. The strategic hire reflects Harri’s commitment to delivering technologies designed to meet the evolving needs of service industries.

Prior to Harri, Valencia was Vice President and Research Director – Human Capital Management Technology at Ventana Research, now part of ISG. Valencia was recently shortlisted for 2023 Analyst of the Year by the Institute of Influencer and Analyst Relations for her work at Ventana. Before becoming an analyst, Valencia spent four years at AMS, where she assumed the role of Vice President – Product Innovation.
