HR Tech Execs on the Move in February

Here's a breakdown of recent executive changes in the world of HR technology.

Homebase, the HR and team management app that helps small businesses manage their hourly teams, announced the appointment of industry veteran Philip Moon as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Rushi Patel also recently added the title of Chief Revenue Officer, continuing the acceleration of Homebase's industry-leading revenue growth.

This is the latest in a series of major developments at Homebase, including last year's hiring of Chief Technology Officer, Oliver Fisher, and Chief Marketing Officer, Candy Lee, as the startup readies for its next phase of growth. This bolstered leadership team brings in experience from rapidly scaling companies such as Shopify, HelloFresh, and FreshBooks to market-leading positions.

Recruitics announced that Bob Lord is joining their board of advisors.

NAS: Jennifer R. Henley, PHR and SHRM-CP has been appointed as NAS Recruitment Innovation’s Chief Operating Officer. Her impressive commitment and extensive experience in NAS operations make her an ideal fit for this role and highlight our continued focus on business growth, revenue generation, and operational efficiency.

Jenn joined NAS in 2001 as an Account Executive and quickly became Regional Manager for the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan region. In 2014, she became the national Director of Client Services, was named a Vice President in 2019 and more recently assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Operations. A 20+ year veteran in recruitment marketing, Jenn has PHR, SHRM-CP, and Lean Six Sigma with Green Belt credentials. She is an active member of SHRM and several HR associations.

Employ Inc announced the appointment of Stephanie Manzelli as Senior Vice President of HR and DEI effective February 12, 2024.

Stephanie will oversee and manage Employ’s talent strategies, playing a critical role in driving a workplace culture that continues to nurture innovation, customer-centricity, and diversity and inclusiveness. She will focus on employee engagement, HR strategy, learning and development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and total rewards, working closely with the existing leadership team and marketing to align efforts with the overall business objectives of Employ. Manzelli will report to Employ Chief Financial Officer, Joe Furnari.

Rippling, the leading workforce management platform, today announced the appointment of Eisar Lipkovitz as Chief Product Officer. Lipkovitz will report to co-founder and CEO Parker Conrad.

Job Mobz a leading global recruitment solutions firm, has appointed Matt Charney as Editor-in-Chief. In his new role, Charney will head content, analyst/industry relations, and marketing communications. He is expected to lead growth for the planned acquisition of Recruiter.com, long established as one of the world's top destinations for talent acquisition, hiring leaders, and recruiting practitioners.

The appointment follows the recent acquisition announcement of the Recruiter.com brand and website, demonstrating the company's long-term strategy in creating an editorially independent, vendor-agnostic platform that covers the talent acquisition and staffing industries with high-quality, high-impact journalism.

Kate O'Neill is a seasoned finance professional with an extensive background in the software industry, particularly in the HR technology market. She brings a wealth of experience in financial strategy and global operations to Built In. Her appointment marks a strategic move as Built In expands its overall market position. O'Neill joins the company from Rival, formerly SilkRoad Technology, where she was Chief Financial and People Officer.

Stafford is the Senior Vice President of Consumer Solutions at Cox Automotive, running the two largest automotive shopping brands – Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book, the largest dealer website and marketing business in Dealer.com, and Cox Automotive Ecommerce, an industry-leading innovative ecommerce solution.

Joveo, a global leader in AI-powered recruitment marketing, announced the expansion of its senior leadership team with the addition of visionary leaders, Cindy Songné and Yazad Dalal. Workforce Payments platform Papaya Global, announced that Amit Levi has been promoted to SVP Product. With more than 15 years of experience, Levi will lead Papaya's product strategy, expanding the company's workforce payments platform.
