Handshake Names VP

Diane Melchionne joins the Handshake team as VP, Customer Success.

Diane brings a wealth of #HRTech experience, joining us from Sense after a successful 15 years building the CS team at Indeed. Diane has dedicated her career to connecting jobseekers and employers, building cohesive teams and driving customer-centric strategies - all of which have clear alignment with our mission at Handshake.

iCIMS CTO Retires

The day has come for Al Smith to retire from iCIMS! After ~10 years with us, he will be retiring at the end of the summer. Until then, he will serve as an advisor to the CTO through the transition. While I'd be lying if I didn't say I am sad to see him go - and I'm sure you are too - I am happy for him and his retirement! He's led the team in accomplishing SO much over the last decade in scaling our platform and customer community - we are all so thankful for his impact. 

With that, we have a new CTO! Joseph Benjamin will be joining as our new CTO next week. Joseph will work closely with our chief product officer Eric Connors (who joined iCIMS in February) in leading and executing our product vision and ongoing innovation. Al was very involved in the selection process, and we could not be more optimistic about our future. 

New CPO & CCO at Employ

Employ Inc., parent company of JazzHRLeverJobvite and NXTThing RPO, today announces the appointment of Dara Brenner as Chief Product Officer (CPO) effective May 1, 2024.

Dara Brenner brings over 25 years of experience building and leading diverse product management teams. As CPO, Brenner will be responsible for evolving Employ’s product strategy to tightly align to its customers’ unique needs. Taking a people-first approach to product innovation, she will empower and lead Employ’s product teams to enhance and develop solutions that deliver value and uplevel hiring capabilities. As a member of the executive leadership team, she will report to CEO, Steve Cox.

They also  announced the appointment of Amanda Berger as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) effective May 6, 2024.

Berger brings more than 20 years of experience leading software and SaaS companies across a variety of industries spanning cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, e-commerce and business intelligence. During her time at HackerOne, Lucidworks and RichRelevance, she spearheaded strategies for customer retention and expansion, ensuring successful outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

New CEO at Vonq

Vonq announced the appointment of Ritu Mohanka as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Ritu brings over 25 years of experience in the HR Tech space, having previously held senior leadership positions at IBM and LinkedIn. Her commitment to innovation and strategic insight has consistently driven significant growth, aligning perfectly with VONQ's global expansion and innovation goals.

Under Ritu's leadership, VONQ aims to strengthen its position as a global leader in AI-based talent marketing solutions in EMEA, USA, and Asia Pacific.

Hibob Adds Chief Business Officer

New Execs at Papaya Global

Papaya Global, the ultimate Workforce Payroll and Payments platform, today announced new C-level promotions: Benny Vazana to Chief Business Officer and Avi Shauli to Chief Research and Development Officer. The promotions reflect the company's continued expansion and positioning for future growth. 

As Chief Business Officer, Benny Vazana will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing business operations at Papaya Global. He will lead strategic planning and business development to drive growth.  

In his new role as Chief Research and Development Officer, Avi Shauli will lead the R&D, Data, and Architecture division at Papaya Global. He will oversee further innovation and development of product technologies and development tools which will best serve Papaya's customers.  

In addition to these promotions, SVP Sales Paul Gasbarro's role has been expanded to SVP Revenue. Gasbarro will now lead Sales, Implementation, and Account Management.  

Michal Regev's role was expanded to VP Finance and will oversee all day-to-day financial management and operations of the company. 

Tellent's new CEO

Moritz Kothe starts immediately as CEO of Tellent, European leader in HR technology for SMEs with the products Recruitee, KiwiHR, and Javelo. With extensive management experience in the HR sector, gained at German job network Xing (now New Work SE) and employer comparator Kununu, Kothe is committed in his new role to driving the company's sustainable growth goals.

As Tellent's new CEO, Kothe focuses on sustainable growth of the HR tech company. His mission is to develop the company's strategy, prioritizing the needs of customers and partners to ensure mutual success.

New Chief People Officer @ Dayforce

Dayforce announced the appointment of Amy Cappellanti-Wolf as EVP and Chief People Officer, effective immediately.

Reporting directly into David Ossip, Chair and CEO, Cappellanti-Wolf will serve as a key member of the Dayforce leadership team and have responsibilities for leading all people operations and strategies across the company’s global footprint. With a proven track record in the technology industry, Cappellanti-Wolf brings extensive experience driving global business growth through talent and organizational development, workforce engagement and inclusivity, and operational efficiencies.

Professional Diversity Network Leadership Changes

Professional Diversity Network, Inc, a developer and operator of online and in-person networks that provide access to networking, training, educational, and employment opportunities for diverse individuals, today announced key leadership changes to support the company’s growth and innovation.

Megan Bozzuto has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective May 20, 2024. Ms. Bozzuto has held the role of Chief Marketing Officer since April 2023 and has served in various positions at PDN’s wholly-owned subsidiary, the International Association of Women (IAW). With over 20 years of experience in finance, marketing, and leadership, Ms. Bozzuto will oversee PDN’s general financial operations. Her strategic vision and strong communication skills will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and sustainable growth. Ms. Bozzuto stated, "PDN is a formidable company with a strong culture. I look forward to collaborating with Adam and the team to drive financial excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth while contributing to the business transformation."

Additionally, Russell Esquivel Jr. has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer, effective May 20, 2024. Mr. Esquivel previously served as the Senior Vice President at PDN business sector, where he achieved one of the highest sales records in the company's history.

Deel Adds to Board

Deel is adding Francis deSouza to its board of directors. deSouza is co-founder of AI company SynthLabs and has served on the boards of Disney and Citrix Systems. He brings a wealth of experience and insight as Deel eyes future milestones and continues its growth, especially among enterprise customers
