Nordson is seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Manager to lead our HRIS and Business Application Solutions organization. At Nordson, the IT Senior Manager of HRIS and Business Application Solutions will develop the vision and strategy that aligns with Nordson's existing HR, non-ERP Business Applications, and software development. This role would also influence future business solutions under one cohesive technology strategy and roadmap. In collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, cross-functional IT leaders and business stakeholders, this role will drive Nordson's HR and non-ERP Business Application Solutions simplification, transformation, and solution delivery methodology to meet current and deliver on future business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements, and define technology or process-driven solutions that address the gaps.
Define long-term talent strategy including team structure, skills development, and succession planning
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders to create, refine, and drive the non-ERP Business solutions roadmap and implementation of the solutions.
Manage budgets, resource plans, vendor relationships, and cross-functional initiatives supporting enterprise-wide technology transformation.
Lead the team in evaluating and selecting technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms that enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.

Software Development & Configuration Management

Provide technical leadership and direction to cross-functional software development teams to ensure high-quality, utilization of best practices, timely delivery of products and enhancements.
