Responsibilities

The role of a Senior HRIS Analyst is a pivotal role within our Human Resources department, responsible for the comprehensive oversight of UKG Core Pro and Workforce Management ( WFM ) . This includes the management of customizations, configuration modifications, system enhancements, and the provision of training and documentation. This candidate will also be supporting the preparation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance/support of Oracle HCM Cloud. The successful candidate will ensure that UKG Pro Core, WFM , and future-state Oracle HCM Cloud are meticulously integrated, and aligned with our Human Resources strategies, supporting the business to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Existing System Management and Improvements

Configure and maintain UKG Pro Core and W FM software for the business and compliance , ensuring it meets their specific WFM needs.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and changes.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for UKG Pro Core and WFM, resolving technical issues that may arise.
Collaborate with the business to understand their processes and requirements and recommend solutions that align with their goals.
Stay up to date on the latest features and updates of UKG Pro Core and WFM, including the monthly and major releases provided.
Communicate effectively with the business to understand their needs and recommend solutions that align with business needs and proactively suggest ways to optimize the use of the UKG Pro Core and WFM software.
Manage multiple configuration requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Maintain a strong understanding of HR technology trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to enhance the use of UKG Pro Core and WFM for the business.
Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to UKG Pro Core and WFM configuration and support to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with IT, Accounting, and other departments to ensure seamless integration with other systems and deliver required reports.
Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for the business to support their use of UKG Pro Core and WFM.
Partner with analytics to build and maintain automated reporting .
Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Establish and maintain system controls and audit routines to proactively identify data quality issues, configuration drift, or access anomalies.
Lead periodic system reviews and readiness assessments to ensure UKG and WFM remain optimized for scale, compliance, and future integrations.

Future Oracle HCM Implementation
Ability to evaluate processes and redesign them for a future-state model.
Participate in vendor management and collaboration with implementation partners.
Build system governance models, standards, and documentation.
Support HR data strategy, including data standardization, architecture, and metadata.
Participate in the end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation by supporting gap analyses against current systems and Oracle HCM, translating functional requirements into Oracle HCM configuration requirements, supporting data migration activities, participating in UAT , and supporting change management and user readiness activ iti es .
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn Oracle HCM Core HR, Talent, Compensation, Learning, etc.
Understanding role-based security models in large HCM systems .
Configuration experience or support for workflow approvals, business rules, alerts, and notifications.
Supporting integrations between Oracle HCM and existing systems ( i.e. Workforce Management, Finance) .
Partner with Change Management to design user adoption strategies, role‑based communication, and post‑go‑live stabilization plans.
Contribute to defining future‑state business process architecture and cross‑module process harmonization across Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Time, and other Oracle Cloud modules.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Technology, or a related field or experience in lieu of d egree.
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in UKG Workforce Management , UKG Pro Core, Oracle .
Proven exposure and participation to large HR technology transformations with experience supporting or implementing enterprise HCM platforms.
Full understanding of modern enterprise Saas HRIS platforms, including UKG Pro Core, Workforce Management, and Oracle HCM.
Skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and process mapping.
Experience in HR data auditing, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
Ability to evaluate configuration changes holistically, assessing downstream impacts across modules, integrations, reporting, payroll, and business processes prior to implementation.
Strong project management skills and experience with technology change management activities and analyses.
Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation, with consultative experience a plus.
Experience translating technical design into user‑friendly processes, with the ability to advise stakeholders on trade‑offs, limitations, and design impacts.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, including ticket escalation, release impact review, and roadmap planning.
Continuously tracks market technology trends, automation, AI and process modernization. Ability to recommend system efficiencies and optimizations with minimal direction.
Ability to manage a significant workload and fast-paced flow of expected output. Comfortable with matrix and remote reporting relationships.
Self-starter who works collaboratively with other members of the client and Human Resources teams.
Thrives in ambiguous situations and can quickly steer in different directions.

Qualifications

Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of compliance domains such as SOX, HIPAA, PII security standards, and audit readiness within HR technology.
Ability to develop complex SQL queries or advanced reporting logic for analytics, validation, and reconciliation.
Proficiency with Oracle HCM Cloud, UKG, and other HRIS platforms.
Understanding SaaS architecture, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
Knowledge of HR data governance, data integrity, and data security.
Familiarity with HR domains: Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, etc.
Ability to work within both Agile or Waterfall project method ologies .
Change management to support user readiness, stakeholder training, and consultative engagements .
Ability to translate technical information into business language.
