About the Team
The Customer Experience Enablement (CXe)team supports high performance and achievement from our Customer Experience field teams at Workday by aligning enablement programs the organizational goals of our Customer Success, Customer Subscription and Global Services organizations. The CXe team develops programs, processes and learning content for our Workday strategy, operations, and tools. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with many internal groups to produce our best work. We seek a personable, upbeat individual who is ready to dig in and help us get to the next level on our enablement programs for our field customers, the Services Sales Executives.
About the Role
We're seeking a driven Technical Enablement Principal to join our Workday Customer Experience Enablement team. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the primary enablement advocate for our Global Services organization, ensuring seamless alignment between enablement program requirements and the specific readiness needs of our teams. You'll be a key collaborator, working across diverse cross-functional groups, including other enablement teams, Services Sales, Professional Services, and other Customer Experience teams. Your ability to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders will be essential in delivering balanced and impactful enablement experiences. We're looking for an innovative self-starter who excels at crafting and validating diverse enablement initiatives across various internal groups and global locations. You'll also contribute to strategic projects and daily operations, including prioritizing enablement programs and providing solutions to field requests from our internal Services Sales clients.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison, accurately communicating Global Services' organizational perspectives and requirements to enablement program owners.
Ensure consistent program delivery and achievement of defined goals and metrics.
Collaborate with enablement colleagues to design, develop, and deliver effective enablement programs.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to validate requirements and evaluate program results.
Proactively source input and content from subject matter experts to enhance program curation.
Identify and recommend potential efficiencies and enhancements to existing processes.
Participate in discovery sessions with business leaders to establish and refine program requirements.
Conduct thorough due diligence during program development.
Develop and refine tools and templates to support enablement initiatives.
Analyze program interdependencies and resolve overlaps to ensure program coherence.
About You
You are a seasoned enablement professional or have a strong background in Global Services, with a passion for developing talent and driving strategic impact. You excel at collaborating with leadership and creating programs that empower individuals to succeed.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in either professional services delivery or technical enablement.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with senior-level leaders.
Ability to clearly articulate technical information and present it to various audiences.
Experience in creating new programs or initiatives.
A strong understanding of technical concepts, even if not a deep expert.
Other Qualifications:
Experience as an Architect or Similar Technical Role
Experience in Designing and Delivering Technical Training
Ability to analyze training needs and develop strategic enablement plans.
Experience working with global teams.
Experience using tools such as Google Suite, Zimit, HighSPOT, or SmartSheets, for content creation, project management, or communication.
Travel up to 20%

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,900 USD - $250,300 USDIf performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $148,300 - $222,500 USD based on min and max pay range for that role if performed in CO.
