The Global Corporate Controller position is a key member of the senior leadership team and reports to the CFO. This position will architect, build, manage, and scale the Company's global accounting organization. The key functions include: accounting operations, revenue accounting, tax, audit, orders to cash, procurement, equity admin and financial systems. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring we continue building a world-class accounting function while partnering across the business to ensure our systems and processes are running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Lead, plan and execute all accounting processes and activities across the organization, to ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory guidelines, and internal financial policies Responsible for the Company's monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process and management reporting of results, operating metrics, and flux analyses. Drive the reporting of financial results for investors and presentations to the Audit Committee Provide leadership required to grow and strengthen the global accounting team, with a commitment to recruiting, training and mentoring Build the technical infrastructure and control environment to support the company’s hyper-growth and prepare the company for an IPO and SOX compliance Leverage technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve employee experience Establish strong relationships with cross-functional peers and lead the team to collaborate with and influence business partners and be the “go-to” accounting resource for them Develop, enhance, implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and reduce risks of the business Manage the Company’s global tax structure, intercompany agreements and compliance Provide financial guidance on rev recognition implications on customer contracts, technical accounting and financial reporting issues Support the executive team in driving best practices across the company related to corporate governance, ethical standards and sustainable business practices Responsible for annual GAAP and statutory audits for all domestic and international subsidiaries Provide accounting expertise on M&A transactions from pre-acquisition due diligence through post-acquisition integration Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required with excellent technical accounting skills 12+ years of experience in public accounting experience with a national accounting firm and controllership positions especially on the revenue front at public companies Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and regulations Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting Extensive experience in a fast growth corporate environment, including skills that effect the transition from private to public company requirements (including the IPO process) Execution-oriented with a proven ability and desire to work effectively, delivering accurate results under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently and effectively communicate to all employee levels within the culturally and geographically diverse Company Experience with setting up and operating accounting processes for foreign subsidiaries Strategic thinker who can develop a plan to build a world class public company accounting organization with the attention to detail and leadership ability to drive change and execute the plan Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Prior experience with large enterprise SaaS business is strongly preferred Experience in financing and M&A transaction work preferred We are a team of self-starters who excel in their fields.
