Position Overview:
The primary focus of this position is to provide advanced knowledge and operational administrative expertise within the Human Capital department. This role ensures compliance with a broad set of applicable laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines and is a key role for our HRIS/HCM solution Dayforce and related technology needs while also leading Benefits administration tasks and coordinating with our external Leave of Absence administration partner.
Essential Duties:
HRIS Administration:
- Serves as supporting administrator for HR applications including Dayforce HRIS/HCM. Stays current and assists colleagues with visibility and comprehension on all applicable system updates and enhancement opportunities and relevant underlying BSB processes and policies.
- Leads or assists with building, and executing system configuration, test plans, role security, and integrations as assigned.
- Identifies and troubleshoots system defects, integration issues, and inaccurate configuration.
- Completes individual or batch HRIS transactions following established guidelines and workflows.
- Supports reporting and analytics needs to enable business leaders to review data real time through reports and dashboards, and to complete regulatory reporting for Benefits, Compliance, and Human Capital.
- Supports data integrity standards through automation, system governance, preventative controls, and data audits.
- Develops strong relationships with vendors, consultants, and IT to troubleshoot system issues and enhancements.
- Maintains awareness of appropriate governance, release cycle management, and process documentation.
Benefits Administration:
- Administers benefit programs including but not limited to health and wellness, voluntary plans, retirement, workman's compensation and coordinates with external administrator partner for employee leaves of absence.
- Supports Open Enrollment, New Hire/Qualifying and Event/Termination benefit events, benefit renewal, communications, and annual filings.
- Coordinates with vendors on transactions, data or communications through Broker. Monitors deliverables to ensure expectations are met and communicates with appropriate Human Capital team members to ensure proper administration of programs.
- Transacts on business processes and workflows related to benefits, retirement account management, and leave administration.
- Interprets benefit programs and communicates established benefit plan design. Partner with benefits broker, vendors, insurers, 3
rdparties and leadership to communicate changes promptly in clear and accessible language.
- Assists employees in routine transactions and navigation of benefits building trust through integrity and authenticity.

- Continuous improvement: proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in HRIS and benefits administration. Recommend and implement enhancements to HC systems to better meet the needs of the organization and employees.
- May assist or collaborate with supervisor, Learning and Development Program Manager or other HC Team roles to develop training and education materials as they relate to HRIS or Benefit areas of responsibility.
- May provide backup coverage to HC employees for payroll, timekeeping or recruiting.
- Completes mandatory compliance training in accordance with established deadlines.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Role Competencies as listed above as well as:
- Advanced usage of standard business applications including Microsoft Office, web browsers and related software and other common communication and analysis tools.
- Able to maintain absolute confidentiality an model discretion with personal, private, confidential and highly sensitive communications and information.
- Experience supporting a multi-state, multi-location environment.
- 3 years of experience within a Human Resources capacity with local, state and federal guidelines in Human Resources operations and employment law.
- 3 years of experience within a Human Resources capacity in at least 3 years of benefits administration and HRIS/HCM administration in multi-state, multi-location organizations.
- 3 years Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) HRIS/ HCM, with Benefits module experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) HRIS/ HCM experience as module leader/owner/manager for Benefits and at least one other module (Core, WFM, Talent/Recruiting, Performance, etc.)
