Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HRIS Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of HR systems within a SaaS environment ( Workday, SAP, Oracle ) . This role is responsible for overseeing system configuration, HR technology projects, vendor relationships, and a small team of professionals. The ideal candidate brings a mix of functional HRIS knowledge, project leadership experience, and the ability to drive innovation through technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the administration and enhancement of enterprise-wide human capital management system and supporting modules (e.g. Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Time/Attendance, Learning).

Manage and mentor a team of HRIS analysts and/or contractors to support business needs and promote professional growth.

Serve as the project owner for HR technology initiatives, including vendor system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and new feature rollouts.

Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure systems align with organizational goals and deliver a strong end-user experience.

Oversee configuration of business processes, security roles, eligibility rules, and calculated fields within the HRIS platform ( Workday , SAP, Oracle, etc).

Own and manage the HR systems roadmap and backlog, prioritizing enhancements based on impact, urgency, and strategic alignment.

Define and implement change control, testing, and documentation processes for new and updated system functionality.

Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation management to ensure issue resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

Maintain data governance, system security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Lead the creation of custom reports and dashboards to support decision-making across HR and business leadership.

Stay informed on trends and innovations in HR technology and recommend new tools, practices, and system improvements accordingly.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of progressive HRIS or HR Technology experience, including 3+ years in a people leadership or senior project management role.

Strong background in managing SaaS-based HR platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, etc.).

Proven experience leading cross-functional HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Knowledge of core HR functions and how they translate into system processes (e.g., employee lifecycle, compensation planning, performance management).

Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into system requirements.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working across all organizational levels.

Project management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar) is a plus.
