Treasury Specialist

Summary/Objective
The Treasury Specialist supports the Accounting Department to achieve organizational goals. This person works closely with the stakeholders to support the payroll service client base.
Core Job Duties
- Execute daily extracts on multiple payroll platforms.
- Transmit NACHA files to multiple banks.
- Transmit EFT payments as needed for tax payments.
- Research and resolve "Employee Returned" transactions.
- Perform manual transactions to/from client-funded accounts.
- Upload Posi pay files to multiple banks.
- Approve, edit, or deny suspect items presented for payment.
- Answer all client questions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records/processing logs for all tasks.
- Other projects as assigned.
Job Complexity
Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Interaction
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Supervision
Typically follows established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments. Work may be spot-checked in progress and upon completion.
Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 3 years of related experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in treasury and/or finance role
- Detail-oriented, self-starter who has had exposure to audits (internally or externally)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required: No.
Work Authorization: Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
