About the Role
We are looking for a driven, passionate Software Engineer for our Marketing Technology team. As a part of the MarTech Product Management team, you will be a key player in shaping and maintaining our Customer Data Platform (CDP). You'll contribute to the CDP's strategy, design and integrate diverse data sources, build scalable data pipelines, and ensure data quality. You'll be keeping updated on industry trends and honing your craft.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to and maintain the organization's Customer Data Platform (CDP) tech strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer experience goals.
Provide expert guidance and leadership in the design and integration of diverse data sources into the CDP, including customer interactions, transactions, demographics, and behavioral data.
Architect and oversee the development of data pipelines and workflows to automate the ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of data for analysis and activation purposes. Ensuring efficiency at scale.
Enforce data quality measures and monitoring mechanisms to identify and address data inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies.
Serve as a strategic partner to marketing teams. With a goal to operationalize CDP capabilities for targeted marketing campaigns, content personalization, and customer journey optimization.
Oversee and evolve integrations of CDP and marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies to enable omnichannel engagement and attribution.
Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, leveraging CDP data to optimize segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies.
Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure the alignment of CDP initiatives with architectural standards, regulatory requirements, and data privacy regulations.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to customer data management, analytics, and marketing technology.
About You
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years demonstrating a deep understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, integration patterns, and ETL processes.
4+ years of hands-on experience configuring Adobe Experience Platform RTCDP, including creating schemas, ingesting data from a variety of sources, configuring identity resolution, creating customer profiles, private identity graph and connecting destinations for activation
Knowledge of using XDM, Target, Attribution AI, Customer AI, DMP & CJA
Experience with Adobe Tags (formerly called “Launch”) and AEP WebSDK implementation
Experience with Javascript and Python
Experience working with APIs
Experience working with data warehouse solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.
Other Qualifications
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in RT-CDP encouraged
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Familiarity with marketing technologies such as marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
