Astronics Luminescent Systems Inc. (LSI) is excited to invite applications for the position of Payroll & HRIS Administrator at our East Aurora, NY location.

As the Payroll & HRIS Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing, maintaining system data integrity, and ensuring compliance tracking at our site. This role requires an expert in timely and accurate payroll, HR data audits, leave management, and generating insightful reports that aid leadership in decision-making. You will work closely with Corporate, HR, and Operations teams to ensure optimal functionality of our payroll and people systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including handling retroactive pay, bonuses, and leave of absence tracking.

Collaborate with corporate payroll on quarterly and year-end activities such as W-2s and ACA reporting.

Troubleshoot payroll issues and act as the primary contact for employee pay inquiries.

Update the HRIS and timekeeping systems to ensure accuracy in job codes, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefit enrollments.

Manage the leave of absence process, including coordination with employee benefits and vendors.

Develop and interpret reports/dashboards using ADP Analytics to support HR and operational objectives.

Maintain compliance calendars, manage labor postings, and prepare for annual audits.

Serve as the site’s HRIS “power user,” ensuring data cleanup and integrity.
Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in payroll and HR systems (ADP experience preferred).

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools.

Experience managing human capital systems and analyzing HR data.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of discretion with sensitive employee information.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with corporate teams.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $64,000 - $77,000 annually, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.
