As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will be a senior leader responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Deel's AI & Platform products. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competition to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and strategies that drive demand, adoption, and growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product marketing, with experience leading cross-functional teams to launch and scale successful products in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key liaison between marketing, product management, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. Influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive product success.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, feature enhancements, and market expansions. Align product positioning with business objectives to ensure successful market penetration and growth.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies that differentiate our products in the marketplace.
Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear and compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences. Ensure that all customer-facing materials (e.g., website, sales collateral, presentations) reflect the product’s value proposition.
Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, sales, customer success) to ensure seamless execution and strong market impact.
Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, training materials, and content to empower the sales team to effectively communicate the value of the product. Conduct training sessions and webinars to ensure sales teams are well-equipped to win in the market.
Customer Advocacy: Collaborate with the Customer Marketing team to utilize customer insights to refine product marketing strategies and drive customer advocacy.
Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of product marketing initiatives. Regularly report on performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including blogs, whitepapers, and speaking engagements, to enhance brand credibility and authority.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology industries is highly desirable.
