About the Team
The Acquisition Integration team is responsible for the integration of acquired companies into Workday. The team is actively involved in the deal process from pre acquisition diligence and planning through post acquisition program management, execution and governance. Given the multi-dimensional nature of M&A transactions, we are seeking a strong results-oriented team member with effective communication skills and experience managing across functions to drive shared objectives and detailed plans. The position may also participate and lend expertise as needed for other Enterprise Programs.
About the Role
Workday is seeking a versatile Acquisition Integration professional to join our team and play a key role in the successful inorganic growth of the company. In this role you will collaborate with internal and acquired company teams to develop and manage integration plans that deliver to Workday’s strategic objectives.
Job Duties:
Key member of the Acquisition Integration team contributing to the end-to-end deal process
Guide and influence employee experience and/or Go-To-Market workstreams to develop and ultimately deliver detailed integration plans
Facilitate discussions across workstreams to clarify interdependencies and “connect the dots” between teams and critical deliverables
Manage and support workstreams with sound problem solving and risk mitigation mindset while helping teams manage through transformative change
Serve as trusted advisor and key resource to integration workstreams ensuring collaboration and information sharing among the teams through transparent communication and frequent updates with a steady and reliable cadence
Lead integration planning meetings with strong organizational skills and ensuring clear accountability
May participate in due diligence to validate acquisition objectives and contribute to the operating model design and identifying the preliminary integration milestones, risks and challenges
Champion continuous improvement of Workday’s acquisition integration methodology
About You
You have a passion for crafting solutions for complex acquisition integration programs. You want to work in a highly collaborative, agile environment. You possess a proven track record to work effectively as a manager of cross functional teams through the acquisition integration process and you quickly establish rapport with co-workers at all levels, ultimately acting as a trusted advisor. You possess a high level of comfort with ambiguity, while simultaneously designing structure and organization for teams to produce desired outcomes!
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of firsthand knowledge as a member of the Integration Management Office in an acquisitive company.
5+ years of experience in an advisory or consulting role that highlights your ability to manage across teams and outcomes.
Other Qualifications:
Acquisition deal lifecycle and integration planning experience from a centralized perspective and experience guiding employee focused workstreams (human resource, information technology, finance)
Demonstrated ability to establish productive working relationships quickly, combined with ability to influence colleagues
Strong and effective verbal and written communication with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences and understand the impacts on stakeholders
Experience with a rapidly scaling technology/software business is a plus

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $151,200 USD - $226,800 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $127,700 USD - $226,800 USD
