About the Team
The Acquisition Integration team is responsible for the integration of acquired companies into Workday. The team is actively involved in the deal process from pre acquisition diligence and planning through post acquisition program management, execution and governance. Given the multi-dimensional nature of acquisitions, we are seeking an experienced results oriented leader with the ability to influence and advise across functions to drive shared objectives and detailed plans.
About the Role
This position offers an opportunity to lead the critical acquisition integration planning and execution responsibilities of future Workday acquisitions. The role will have influence and accountability working alongside functional leaders in the design, prioritization and execution of key activities throughout the lifecycle of a deal. The Acquisition Integration Director demonstrates high proficiency in strategy facilitation, cross functional decision making, overall program management and exhibits operational depth across integration related subject areas. This role will partner with business leaders and integration specialists in product, technology, sales, services, finance, people & purpose, and other business functions. Important note: In contrast to a functionally specific integration position where work involves integration of a single function, this is an ideal role for an integration specialist whose competence is cross functional, bringing to bear one’s ability to translate broad business strategy into an execution plan for multiple functions.
Responsibilities:
Active participant in diligence of target company in order to design and lead integration planning in alignment with the overall business strategy
Build and lead a holistic integration plan in partnership with the deal sponsor and functional leaders to achieve the deal’s strategic imperatives
Objectively assess risk and create effective mitigation plans throughout the deal lifecycle
Partner with communication teams to ensure an effective internal and external change program is in place
Act as a liaison with the acquired company to facilitate effective alignment with Workday and readiness for integration across all functional areas
Drive alignment across key partners and all functional teams
Build a repeatable M&A and integration practice that continually improves, simplifies and speeds Workday’s overall performance
Measure performance to deal objectives both during and after the integration period and partner with management for accurate alignment where needed. Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses of feedback data to draw salient insights and actions

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
