About the Team
The Thought Leadership & Customer Stories (TLC) Multimedia Team is a forward-thinking group dedicated to establishing Workday as a leading voice on the future of work and AI. Our mission is to create innovative and impactful multimedia content—like podcasts, videos, and engaging digital experiences—that positions Workday executives, customers, partners, and thought leaders at the forefront of industry conversations. We're a collaborative and autonomous team that values creativity, new ideas, and having fun.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative Associate Multimedia Designer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about visual storytelling and digital content.
In this role, you'll be the go-to production specialist for the visual assets that bring our thought leadership to life. You will support the team by designing and producing graphics for our key programs, including podcasts, videos, research reports, and editorial articles. This role is crucial for elevating the visual appeal of our content.
You'll work closely with a team of writers, content strategists, and multimedia production experts to deliver high-quality creative in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and produce a high volume of graphics for all our content formats, including:
Podcasts: Episode cover art, promotional images, and audiogram graphics.
Videos: Thumbnails, lower thirds, title cards, and graphics for social-first micro-videos.
Editorial articles: Hero images, in-line graphics, and call-to-action (CTA) visuals.
Research reports: Turn research and data points into compelling visual assets like charts, graphs, and infographics.
Presentations: Design and produce slides and visual aids for internal and external presentations.
Act as a brand steward, ensuring all creative assets are consistent with Workday and "Forward Thinkers" visual branding.
Help manage our team's creative asset library.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or multimedia creative (relevant internships count!).
A strong online portfolio showcasing your design skills, especially for digital and web-based projects.
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, and InDesign).
A keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Other Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Basic knowledge of motion graphic creation (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (like Figma or Sketch).
An interest in B2B technology, AI, the future of work, and corporate storytelling.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $84,000 USD - $126,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $74,500 USD - $126,000 USD
