Job OverviewiCIMS is seeking a Sr. Director, GTM Systems to define and own the north-star vision and reference architecture for our GTM technology stack, ensuring alignment with company growth, segmentation, and data strategy. In this role, you will establish standards and guardrails, make build-versus-buy decisions, and advise senior leadership on how systems enable operating model shifts. You will shape the roles, skills, and resourcing needed to execute the roadmap, while personally driving the design and build of strategic, high-value initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure secure, compliant, and scalable delivery across CRM, CPQ, CLM, Marketing Automation, Customer Success, Data, AI, and integration layers.

ResponsibilitiesOwn Systems Vision and Architecture:
- Define a multi-year GTM blueprint with domain maps and capability roadmap across CRM, CPQ, CLM, MA, CS, data, AI, and integrations.
- Publish north-star designs, deprecation paths, and consolidation plans to reduce tech debt and TCO.
- Balance architecture leadership with hands-on contribution to strategic builds (e.g., next-gen CLM implementation, high-value integrations, AI/Agent pilots).
Set Standards and Guardrails:
- Establish design principles for data models, usage, integrations, identity, and admin rights. Define non-functional requirements for security, privacy, resilience, observability, and performance. Chair a cadenced architecture review and manage exceptions.
Lead Build vs. Buy Decisions:
- Support vendor evaluations and proofs of concept. Recommend commercial solutions or internal builds with clear ROI, risk, and time-to-value tradeoffs. Guide contracting with IT and Procurement.
Advise Senior Leadership:
- Translate strategy into a sequenced, funded roadmap tied to measurable business outcomes. Partner with ELT/SLT on pricing, channel, and PLG motions supported by systems.
Establish AI and Agent Guardrails:
- Develop standards for Agentforce and other agentic solutions, including human-in-the-loop design, access control, audit trails, logging, and kill-switch patterns. Personally prototype and validate agent use cases before scaling, ensuring security and compliance.
Shape Org Design and Delivery Model:
- Define roles, skills, and onshore/offshore mix for GTM Systems. Mentor Program Managers, Agent Architects, and Business Analysts. Manage partner strategy for elastic capacity.
Oversee Platform Security and Compliance:
- Govern permissions hygiene, segregation of duties, and admin standards in partnership with Infosec and Compliance. Ensure change control and audit readiness.
Enable Execution Without Overlap:
- Provide architectural sign-off and partner closely with Program Managers and Analysts, ensuring alignment to standards while staying directly engaged in high-complexity solutioning.
Qualifications- 15+ years in enterprise or GTM systems, including experience leading architecture for B2B SaaS
- Deep Salesforce ecosystem expertise (Sales or Service Cloud, CPQ), with working knowledge of CLM, Marketing Automation, CS platforms, and data stacks (Snowflake or BigQuery)
- Integration depth across MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, or equivalent API and event frameworks
- Strong data architecture background, including canonical modeling, MDM, metadata, lineage, and retention practices
- Proven record consolidating complex stacks, reducing TCO, and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Experience establishing AI and agent standards and operationalizing agentic workflows in enterprise settings
- Executive presence with crisp communication, financial acumen, and vendor management experience

Compensation and BenefitsWe accept applications for this position on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and qualified candidates may be contacted throughout the posting period.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $170,000-$200,000.00 annually. Additional compensation for this role includes a bonus eligibility, which program is based on personal, department and/or company performance, where applicable. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
