The Team Lead, HRIS is part of the HR Technology and Data Management team within the People division. You’ll lead the HRIS SuccessFactors administration team at American Airlines, setting best practices and ensuring optimal system performance. In this role, you’ll guide and develop team members while driving excellence in Employee Central and onboarding functionality. Your leadership will shape HR technology standards and influence how core HR processes operate across the organization.

Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to HRIS administrators; overseeing daily tasks and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Drive best practices across HRIS admin team including documentation, change management and testing.

Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance various SuccessFactors modules (like Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central).

Design and implement forms and workflows, manage data models, create reports, and handle system configurations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for HRIS processes and workflows.
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

4 years of experience in HRIS administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

Experience in a large, complex organization.

Advanced knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with integrations between SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications

SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central and/or Recruiting/Onboarding preferred.

Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting/Onboarding modules.

Strong proficiency in HRIS configuration and troubleshooting.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
