How you can help make a better world of work
We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher to drive actionable insights at the intersection of human psychology and AI product experiences. You will lead research for our AI-powered coaching and performance tools, shaping intuitive, trustworthy, and high-impact workflows that empower employees globally.
In this role, you’ll move beyond usability to explore the ‘black box’ of AI – investigating how trust is built, how transparency is maintained, and how AI can feel like a collaborative partner rather than just another tool. You’ll join a team of passionate humans dedicated to turning mixed-methods research into product direction at speed.
As part of our team, you will:
- Scope and lead strategic research: Define and manage research programs that clarify where and how AI should assist users, ensuring alignment with both user needs and business goals.
- Define AI excellence: Establish evaluation frameworks for AI experiences (focusing on trust, controllability, and safety) and translate these into design principles and reusable patterns the team can ship with confidence.
- Have a flexible research approach: Creatively adapt your broad research toolkit – from generative interviews to quantitative experiments – to navigate ambiguous or multi-faceted AI challenges.
- Bridge disciplines and drive alignment: Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and People Scientists to shape hypotheses and use data to drive clarity on high-stakes product bets
- Narrate with influence: Socialise findings through compelling storytelling and visualisation, tailoring your communication to move audiences from interesting data to strategic action
You have:
- 5+ years of UX Research experience: You’ve run complex, end-to-end studies in a fast-paced SaaS environment; experience with AI-assisted workflows or LLMs is highly regarded.
- Complexity management: A proven ability to contextualise problems within larger technical systems and anticipate the downstream effects of product decisions.
- Strategic influence: A track record of building strong cross-functional relationships and using data to influence senior-level decision-makers.A mixed-methods toolkit: Deep proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methods, with the ability to synthesise disparate data points into a single, actionable narrative.
- Systems thinking & scalability: You look beyond individual workflows to ensure AI patterns remain consistent, extensible, and cohesive as they scale across the entire Culture Amp platform.
