Job Summary
As a Market Research Analyst in the Marketing Operations team, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive market and contact research to support marketing and sales campaigns. Your work will focus on enriching existing records and mining net-new data on target accounts and contacts, ensuring high-quality, up-to-date information in our CRM and marketing automation platforms. You will be instrumental in identifying ICP-aligned companies and personas using advanced secondary research, data scraping, and profiling techniques.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Research & Enrichment
- Identify ICP-fit companies and create complete company profiles, including industry, sub-industry, size, revenue, region, subsidiaries, etc.
- Use trusted data sources (web, databases, reports) to validate and enrich firmographic details.
2. Contact Research & Profiling
- Identify relevant buyer personas and stakeholders from public web sources, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other platforms.
- Enrich contact records with complete data: Name, Email, Phone, Title, LinkedIn URL, Location, Department, and seniority.
3. Marketing Database Hygiene & Audits
- Conduct data health audits to identify gaps, duplicates, or outdated information in the CRM or MAP.
- Run batch updates and manual/automated enrichment workflows for large data sets.
- Standardize and normalize fields to align with lead scoring and routing logic.
4. Data Uploads & CRM Quality Control
- Perform QC checks on team-delivered data before uploading into Salesforce/HubSpot.
- Maintain audit logs, tracking accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data fields.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate data integrity KPIs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in Market/Contact Research, Data Mining, or Marketing/Sales Operations.
- Strong working knowledge of secondary research methods and internet-based data mining.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, data formatting, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with platforms like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clearbit or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and/or Marketing Automation tools (HubSpot) is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about data accuracy and process improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS or HR Tech environments
- Exposure to ICP-based segmentation and persona mapping
- Knowledge in SQL/VB Scripts is a plus
