About the Team
Adaptive Planning is a strategic and rapidly growing business unit within Workday, helping organizations around the world transform how they plan, model, and make decisions. Our marketing team operates with a builder mindset—combining the scale and reach of Workday with the agility and focus of a standalone business.
Events are one of our most important growth levers. They play a critical role in driving pipeline, accelerating deals, strengthening customer relationships, and building a global community of finance and business leaders. We are building a modern event engine that is highly targeted, deeply integrated with Sales and Customer Success, and focused on delivering measurable business impact.
About the Role
As Senior Event Marketing Manager for Adaptive Planning, you’ll own the strategy and execution of high-impact, executive-level events across North America for the Adaptive Planning Business unit.
These will range from intimate C-suite dinners and hospitality programs to flagship trade shows and Workday-led conferences. This role sits at the intersection of brand, pipeline, and executive engagement, and is critical to how we show up with senior finance and business leaders across the region.
You’ll be responsible for designing experiences that feel thoughtful, premium, and commercially effective—events that senior executives actually want to attend and that sales and product leaders see as indispensable to revenue growth. You’ll partner closely with regional sales leadership, product marketing, and corporate events teams, while navigating the complexity of a global brand with local nuance.
This is a hands-on, highly visible role for someone who combines flawless execution with strong strategic instincts, commercial acumen, and calm leadership under pressure.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
