Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for administration and support of Cirrus’ HRIS software and databases. Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data, optimizing system functionality, and assisting in various HR-related tasks. You will collaborate with HR staff, internal communications, IT and other stakeholders to audit and maintain data while ensuring data integrity, generating insightful reports, and enhancing HR processes through technology.
Responsible for HR workforce management including transactional work within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely data entry. Responsible for process of data within HRIS and reviewing output for accuracy. Generates standard HR reports and is responsible for creation of complex or ad-hoc reports. This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the HRIS platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of the HR department and the broader organization.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Workforce Management: 20%

Maintain and audit employee information in the HRIS, including personal details, job changes, salary adjustments, benefits enrollment, and terminations.

Process and audit job changes and employee status adjustments in HRIS

Audit and maintains employee information in UKG to include new hire input, transfers, payroll, benefits, employee relations, talent management, & recruitment data in UKG

Change of address and W-2 coordination for former employees

Monitor data integrity and perform regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Stay updated with relevant HR laws, regulations, and data protection requirements to ensure HRIS compliance.

Compliance and Data Security: Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard HR data and prevent unauthorized access.
HRIS Administration: 60%

Collaborate with IT and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of HRIS software upgrades or new systems to improve efficiency and functionality.

Propose and implement automation solutions within the HRIS system to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

Work closely with IT, Internal communications, and HR teams to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with other HR-related software and tools.

Conduct thorough testing of system changes and updates to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.

Maintain and configure the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data on employees, positions, organizational structure, and other HR-related information.

Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions and maintain data integrity.

Manage user access, security permissions, and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Analyze user requests, identify problems, research solutions, and resolve technical problems as needed for the wide variety of applications and systems supported within HRIS

Develop user guides and system documentation.

Assist in maintaining project plans, folders, milestone, and resource requirements and communications related to HRIS projects.

Assist with system conversions, upgrades, and customization.

Support security controls to ensure appropriate access to functionality for users and monitor appropriate data security.
Data Management and Reporting: 20%

Extract, analyze, and interpret HR data from the HRIS system to produce regular and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics for HR and management teams.

Identify data trends and provide insights to HR and business leaders to support strategic decision-making and planning.

Collaborate with HR teams to develop and standardize data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Maintains accurate employee records and administrative procedures that comply with company and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent field preferred

Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) as an HRIS Analyst or similar role, working with HRIS platforms and data management.

Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, including HR data and reporting.

Proficiency in HRIS software and tools (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, etc.).

Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
