Description
Position Summary: The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS) for over 1500+ employees in two companies.
Essential Accountabilities:

Collect and analyze data to improve HR strategies and processes.

Take the initiative to identify, recommend, configure, and test HR system updates and enhancements.

Suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department.

Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.

Conducts audits to ensure data integrity.

Manages user accounts and permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

Serves as a lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Technology Department (IT), external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation

Partners with the IT department to create new functionalities for the HR system.

Generates reports on key metrics such as demographics and compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.

Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Associates degree required, bachelors degree preferred in HR, Information Systems or a related field of study. Minimum two years HRIS experience preferably in a Human Resources setting. Good interpersonal skills. Familiarity with a personal computer. Typing 40 - 45 WPM. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize essential.
