The Weld County Human Resources department is recruiting for an HRIS Manager
to join our team!
This is a new position that will provide you to use your skills with
interpersonal and technical abilities, organizational skills and attention
to detail, analytical and problem-solving and familiarity with human
resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational
needs and goals.
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager will be responsible
for implementing and maintaining the HRIS software for Weld County. As part of
the HR team, the HRIS Manager will manage data related to employees and
business functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation,
benefits, and performance management.
In addition to ensuring that the HRIS system is functioning properly, the
HRIS Manager will also analyze HR data to identify trends and develop
strategies for improving HR processes. In the HR department, the HRIS
manager role combines the responsibilities of both an HR manager, an IT
specialist, and a manager of the HRIS applications support team of employees
tasked with managing HR data and ensuring that the department functions effecti
The HRIS Manager will be responsible for providing vision, leadership,
planning, project coordination, and management to develop and improve a
cost-effective human resources information system (HRIS) while
concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future
business needs within the HR department. Responsible for collaborating with HR
partners, various departments (i.e., IT), and outside vendors to
develop efficient and effective processes and workflows as well as analyze and
direct all functionally related activities within the scope of the HRIS. The
incumbent in this position will be accountable for ensuring continuity and
successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the
organization. The HRIS Manager must maintain current and continuing knowledge
of Workday semi-annual updates including HR, Core, Learning, Talent,
Payroll and Time Tracking, Compensation, etc.
$102,841.42 - $130,216.84 annually plus benefits (see benefits tab
on the job posting).
As an applicant for this position, you should be aware of Senate Bill
19-085, the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The act requires employers to
announce the pay range for job openings. This range encompasses the nine pay
steps available should you receive the position and demonstrate satisfactory
performance over time.
This position is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime requirements of the
Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore ineligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Information
Systems, or related field.
At least five (5) years of experience managing and maintaining HRIS systems.
At least three (3) years of experience in HRIS database
architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, and communicating
technical and conceptual information effectively with end-users.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint. Must have advanced knowledge in Excel, including use of
filtering, pivot tables, v-lookup functionality, charts, and graphs.
Demonstrable experience handling sensitive, confidential
organizational, department, employee, and performance information.
Must possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication
skills and relationship building with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
