Job Requirements The Instructional Designer for Enablement will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instructional materials, content and programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our Revenue team members. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with strong instructional design experience, particularly in technology-enabled learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and define learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and multimedia content, content pages on Enablement Platforms such as Highspot.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create comprehensive training programs.
- Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes and ensure alignment with training objectives.
- Develop engaging audience experiences within enablement to drive gamification & engagement
- Maintain a central repository of training materials and resources.
- Continuously evaluate and update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Use learning management systems (LMS) to track, manage and deliver training programs.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve instructional materials and delivery methods.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and enablement.
Work Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a B2B corporate or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia editing software.
- Experience with gamification and interactive learning technologies.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in governing content on enablement platform such as HIghspot
- Experience with LMS administration and delivery of online training.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to measure training effectiveness.
- Knowledge of sales processes, methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with HR Technology or SaaS products is a plus.
