About the Role
As a Software Application Engineer, you will have the opportunity to solve sophisticated problems, which comes with developing and delivering critical enterprise software using your expertise in design, coding, algorithms and complexity analysis.
Join a team of motivated, multifaceted and highly engaged software engineers, working with key architects, product managers, and other partners delivering a new generation of on-demand Enterprise solutions crafted to meet the needs of today's global businesses. The team’s overall goal will be to accelerate the delivery of features in an agile environment while safeguarding the high quality our customers expect from Workday applications.

You are a problem solver who is motivated by successfully shipping new features to production.
You have familiarity with, or a willingness to design, build, test, and monitor a service in production.
Knowledge of Financial Software, Accounting or Business Intelligence/Analyticsis a plus.
A solid understanding of object-oriented design and development, along with experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, etc, and proficiency in UML.
Experience designing/developing business applications.
4 - year degree in computer science or equivalent engineering field.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
