How you can help make a better world of work
As Social Media Manager, you’ll lead social strategy and execution across Culture Amp’s social channels. Sitting on our Corporate Marketing team and reporting to the Director of Content Strategy and Campaigns, you’ll shape how Culture Amp shows up in the world – clear, thoughtful, confident, and human.
Working closely with Brand, Communications, Design, Content, PMM, People Science, and Events, you’ll connect social to the moments that matter most – from product launches and thought leadership to live events and cultural conversation. You’ll bring strong editorial instincts, platform fluency, and a sharp eye for what will resonate with different audiences, from HR practitioners to executive business leaders.
What you’ll be doing
- Social strategy: Build and evolve organic social strategies across platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram, while continuously evaluating new channels that fit our audience and goals. Develop and execute our Reddit strategy.
- Develop the social narrative and personality: Design, build, and evolve a distinct, engaging social media personality and narrative for Culture Amp, elevating our channels from corporate updates to a true community destination.
- Content planning and publishing: Own day-to-day content planning, publishing, and community engagement across Culture Amp’s social presence, keeping our voice consistent, creative, and on-brand.
- Writing and messaging: Write and edit social copy for different audiences and moments, with a strong grasp of platform nuance, clarity, and tone.
- Cross-functional storytelling: Partner across campaigns, product launches, people science insights, live events, and thought leadership initiatives to create social-first content people actually want to engage with.
- PR and communications alignment: Partner with our communications and PR teams to align social strategy with brand reputation milestones, ensuring our narrative is amplified seamlessly across earned and owned media.
- Event amplification: Lead event promotion before, during, and after the moment – including scrappy, on-brand coverage that can bring insights to life even without a full production setup.
- Internal amplification: Create and distribute social toolkits for internal partners, including copy, assets, alt text, and posting guidance that make amplification easy.
- Employee and influencer strategy: Help grow Culture Amp’s internal influencer and employee amplification approach so more of the right voices can extend our reach in credible, useful ways.
- AI-enabled execution: Build and iterate on AI-powered workflows that reduce repetitive work and create more room for strategic and creative thinking. Bring that same AI fluency to how Culture Amp shows up in the broader AI conversation on social.
- Performance and optimization: Monitor performance and regularly share what’s working, what’s not, and where we should go next across engagement, reach, and brand impact.
- Trend spotting and creative development: Stay close to platform shifts, trends, and cultural moments, and translate them into smart creative opportunities for the brand.
- Video creation: Direct, shoot, and edit social video, and use a mix of formats to tell better stories across channels.
