As an integral part of our One Global Delivery (OGD) organization, the Director will manage a set of key customer project implementations, providing leadership and guidance, and assisting in the continuous improvement of the processes and tools that are leveraged to deliver an efficient and high-quality implementation experience to our customers. This role calls for a strong leader who has demonstrated experience as a strong consultant, communicator and program manager.
What You'll Do
- Lead a portfolio of customer projects, providing management oversight and directing the planning, scoping, and execution of customer engagements.
- Exercise consulting skills and a fundamental understanding of HR Technologies, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management practices, roles and challenges in order to provide guidance and best practices and ensure clients achieve their business goals.
- Recognize, measure, and mitigate risks associated with customer engagements. You must be able to make prudent decisions concerning an organization's time, resources, and personnel to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and communicate portfolio performance to executive leadership
- Ensure actions and key deliverables are met and are kept within the defined scope.
- Understand technical architecture and guide technical decisions required to deliver customer solutions
- Be a coach and mentor to your fellow Technical Program Managers, supporting them as they guide our clients through the customer onboarding experience
- Be the first point of escalation for customer project issues and drive remediation, working across an array of stakeholder groups.
- Manage key input metrics and related decisions to drive progress toward annual goals
What You've Done
- 10+ years of combined hands-on and management experience to deliver complex software product implementations for high-profile clients
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Software Development Life Cycles including Agile and Waterfall
- Understanding of Common Web Technologies including SaaS platforms, CMS technologies, Java, HTML, XML, APIs, JavaScript, and CSS. You are not expected to write code, but you do need to understand technical requirements and configurations
- High-level understanding of Cloud Computing and hosted applications
- Experience with SSO, SSL, URL Structure, and SOAP UI/Testing Tools
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical and business issues (and solutions) to diverse audiences
- Direct experience working with Agile SCRUM or Kanban teams
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Experience in Talent Acquisition/Human Resources technologies would be an asset(s)
- PMP / PMI / Scrum and other relevant certifications would be an asset(s)
