Job Description

As the Principal Product Manager overseeing platform, infrastructure and AI elements at Appcast, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our platform while shaping the future of the next generation of AI capabilities across our product portfolio. In this role, you will spearhead the deep integration of generative AI and machine learning, defining critical features and shaping the roadmap to achieve high-scale, high-performance to our customers and partners. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate a clear and comprehensive product strategy that aligns with market trends, technological advancements, and organizational goals. 
  • Roadmap Planning and Execution: Develop and oversee a product roadmap that aligns with strategic objectives, ensuring seamless implementation and delivery of features and enhancements. 
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, prioritizing user needs and feedback to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities, ensuring our products remain innovative and competitive. 
  • Performance Metrics and KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize product performance. 
  • Strategic Planning and Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership to align product strategies with organizational goals, ensuring maximum impact and success for our product offerings. 
  • Innovation and Leadership: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our platform. Act as a subject matter expert on platform and AI technologies, providing guidance and support to internal teams and customers. 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in overseeing platform and infrastructure elements. 
  • Familiarity with AI services, machine learning and generative AI. 
  • Strong technical background, with experience in software development, cloud computing, and scalable architecture design. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic product plans, driving product innovation and growth. 
  • Deep understanding of B2B recruitment marketing or related industries is a plus. 
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations. 

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience with a proven proficiency in machine learning models, event detection, pattern recognition, evaluation methodologies and optimization techniques 
  • Understanding of different algorithmic approaches including causal modeling, bandits, reinforcement learning, ensembles, neural networks, probabilistic graphical models, and matrix factorization 
  • Experience building and deploying algorithmic solutions in production 
  • A robust track record of leading dynamic product teams and prior experience as a product manager.  
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-performing product teams within fast-growing organizations by refining systems, processes, and team dynamics. 
  • Proven experience handling roles where C-level executives are key stakeholders. 
  • Agile in transitioning from high-level strategy discussions to in-depth operational details. 

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel for this position may include quarterly travel to attend internal and external meetings, however, this may vary based on business needs and opportunities.
