About the Team

As part of the Lodestar Application team at Workday, you'll be an integral member of a multi-functional team in an agile environment. You will collaborate with other engineers, designers, QAs, and the team’s product manager to deliver exciting and impactful features for customers. You will broaden your technical skills through regular review and discussion of code and use your technical expertise to build an outstanding product.
About the Role
We value innovation, collaboration, and ownership. You will design and implement features and components in a team oriented environment. You will partner with product management to break down high-level product vision into manageable pieces for development. Development work will primarily be in Java, Javascript, & GraphQL. You will also champion growth for yourself and others with various opportunities to mentor, create innovative solutions, inspire change, and share ideas across the company!
We are a geographically distributed organization with a focus on a presence in Pleasanton, CA, Vancouver, BC, Boulder, CO and Dublin, Ireland; we coordinate teams around these geographies but ultimately collaborate with engineers and architects across the world.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years professional software development experience
3+ years of developing using Java or Javascript
Experience applying databases, such as Oracle or Postgres
3+ years experience with any web technologies such as React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs and web services
Other Qualifications:
Experience with Object modeling and UML preferred
Understanding of code design and architecture
Self-directed and highly motivated
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working in a scrum team

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
