About the role
Culture Amp is looking for a commercially minded Global Procurement and Vendor Management Lead to bring greater visibility, discipline and value to our third party spend across our APAC, US and EMEA hubs.
Third party costs, including software, professional services, IT hardware, workplace operations and related capital projects, are a significant part of any organisation’s cost base. This role will establish a clear, accountable approach to managing those commitments, helping Culture Amp make better commercial decisions while enabling technical and business teams to focus on their core work.
You’ll own the commercial management of our vendor portfolio, lead the renewal and negotiation strategy for material agreements, and build the policies, processes and reporting needed to manage spend effectively. You’ll also act as a trusted commercial partner to leaders across the business, bringing clear recommendations to strategic decisions.
This role reports to the SVP, Finance and Business Operations and leads a small specialist function.
What you’ll do
- Own the global procurement and vendor management function across APAC, the US and EMEA, maintaining visibility of agreements, renewal dates, notice periods, owners and annual value.
- Partner with Workplace, Finance, Legal, Security and Technology on supplier relationships, property commitments and capital projects, ensuring decisions are commercially sound and appropriately governed.
- Set commercial strategy and lead negotiations for third party agreements, delivering measurable savings and protecting Culture Amp’s commercial position.
- Rationalise the vendor portfolio by analysing usage, licensing and overlap, and recommend the right balance of consolidation, commitment, flexibility and investment.
- Own third party technology spend budgeting and forecasting, reporting actuals, variance, savings opportunities and supplier performance to leadership.
- Build and maintain the vendor management and procurement framework, including policy, approval thresholds, intake processes and commercial governance.
- Use automation and AI enabled tools to improve spend analysis, renewal preparation and negotiation drafting, creating leverage in a lean function.
- Lead, coach and develop a small specialist team while influencing stakeholders across the organisation through clear, decision ready advice.
What you’ll bring

- A strong track record of leading negotiations for third party agreements and delivering measurable, evidenced savings.
- Deep experience managing technology and SaaS categories, including software licensing, pricing, renewals and vendor negotiation tactics.
- Strong financial and commercial judgement, with the ability to build and defend budgets, model options, reconcile spend to actuals and make recommendations to executive audiences.
- Experience building vendor management or procurement frameworks from a low base and driving adoption across an organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to frame decisions clearly and escalate with a recommendation.
- The ability to build trusted partnerships with VPs and executives across different business functions.
- Experience leading and developing a small specialist team.
Desirable experience
- Experience in a high growth technology or SaaS company with a distributed, multi jurisdiction footprint.
- Practical experience using automation or AI tools to create operating leverage in a lean function.
- Exposure to third party security and risk review processes.
- Experience working with procurement advisory or benchmarking partners on major negotiations.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and spend management platforms.
- Experience supporting workplace services, property portfolios or capital projects.
