About the role:
This role manages the customer renewal process, from generating quotes to proactively engaging customers and addressing concerns to secure timely renewals. It focuses on building strong relationships, negotiating contract terms with internal teams, and tracking renewal pipelines for accurate forecasting. Critical to driving customer retention and maximizing renewal rates, this position directly impacts company revenue by ensuring long-term customer loyalty and stability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Renewal Coordination: Manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customers, including sending renewal notifications, generating quotes or proposals, and following up with customers to secure renewals in a timely manner.
- Customer Engagement:Proactively reach out to customers prior to their renewal dates to discuss their current needs, address any concerns or objections, and highlight the value of renewing their subscriptions or contracts.
- Relationship Building:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by serving as their primary point of contact for renewal-related inquiries and assistance. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Contract Negotiation:Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to negotiate contract terms and pricing with customers, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives while maximizing renewal rates and customer satisfaction.
- Forecasting and Reporting:Monitor renewal pipelines, track progress, and provide regular updates on renewal forecasts and metrics. Identify trends and insights to inform strategies for improving renewal rates and customer retention.
- Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customers' needs and preferences within the organization, providing valuable insights and feedback to relevant teams to drive product improvements, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention.
