Role Overview:
We are seeking a PEO Payroll Manager to join our Payroll Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) clients. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of PrismHR payroll functions and experience in managing payroll operations within a PEO environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, addressing payroll issues, and ensuring client satisfaction by managing end-to-end payroll responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for PEO clients using PrismHR, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
PrismHR Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert on PrismHR payroll functions, including, reporting, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Employee Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, benefits, and other payroll-related disbursements to employees across multiple jurisdictions.
Data Management: Maintain employee payroll records, oversee data integrity, and ensure all changes are properly reflected in PrismHR.
Tax Reporting: Collaborate with the tax and legal teams to ensure accurate payroll tax deductions, filings, and compliance with tax regulations.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring employee and client satisfaction.
Reporting: Generate payroll reports as needed for clients, internal teams, and compliance purposes, ensuring data accuracy.
Client Support: Work directly with clients to address payroll-related questions, provide support, and ensure payroll processes align with their needs.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance using PrismHR capabilities.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in payroll processing within a PEO or similar environment.
2+ years of experience in a payroll management role, preferably within a PEO or similar environment
Expert-level proficiency in PrismHR, specifically in payroll functions and configuration.
Strong understanding of multi-state and international payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations.
Experience with payroll tax filings and reporting, including understanding of deductions, garnishments, and contributions.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage payroll for a large volume of employees.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll issues.
Client-facing experience, with strong communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
