About the Team
We're seeking an experienced relationship-focused leader with business operations, communications, strategy, and technical experience to work alongside the General Manager of a large product-centric organization to drive forward detailed execution of key initiatives. This role is akin to a Chief of Staff.
You will drive forward initiatives on behalf of the org leader, simultaneously extending their efficiency and the organization's by crafting streamlined processes, providing consistent communication, building trust across the organization, prioritizing areas for investment, and assisting key leaders in achieving focus within their teams. You will also serve as a trusted advisor and right-hand to the GM.
About the Role
Internal Communications and Coordination:
Coordinate and run key meetings including Staff meetings, Stand-Ups, Leadership Offsites, Town Halls, etc
Establish and own internal Communications strategy within the Financials and Spend organization, across Workday and to external partners
Develop close relationships with, and gain the trust of key senior partners across Product and Technology, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Sales organizations in aligning business objectives and working optimally together.
Operations Management:
Serve as the point of contact and liaison for Corporate Functions including People & Purpose (HR), Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Finance, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development (M&A), etc
Drive and own adoption and execution of objectives and key results across the leadership team and the broader organization, including orchestrating the review process and alignment to key company initiatives
Promote operational excellence by identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize our systems and processes with a focus on agility
Support and promote professional development, and identify/implement key programs across the Technology org in close partnership with People & Purpose and other learning enablement teams
Special Initiatives and Strategy Projects:
Lead key operational initiatives, partnering closely with key team members within and outside of organization, demonstrating active listening and the ability to influence others to achieve buy-in
Conduct research for key projects, including, but not limited to, investment opportunities, M&A opportunities, technology processes, and overall business improvements
Guide leaders and key product teams on overall Strategy direction, presentations and initiatives, providing feedback and mentorship with emotional intelligence
Develop and implement a communications strategy for internal stakeholders
Trusted Advisor:
Partner with on key organizational changes, leadership alignment, and process improvements in order to ensure vision and strategy are enabled
Serve as representative for GM in various meetings, and forums as appropriate
Guide on confidential matters and maintain a high level of discretion, exhibiting sound judgment in handling sensitive situations
About You
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of business operations, strategy, consulting, product management or equivalent
Demonstrated development and implementation of communications strategy for internal and external stakeholders
BA, BS, or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, or related field
Other Qualifications
Ability to work on-site in our Boulder, CO office per our 50% flex policy
Deep experience in an enterprise SaaS environment, in particular technical experience or experience working closely with functional and cross-functional teams
Ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced team, including highly technical topics
Ability to handle interpersonal relationships with a high degree of emotional intelligence and self-awareness

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $168,300 USD - $252,500 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $159,900 USD - $292,800 USD
