Job Description
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for performing advanced project management tasks within an enterprise PMO. This role drives performance, ensures compliance, and overcomes obstacles to consistently deliver web projects on time and within budget. As a trusted source for clients and partners, the expectation is that this role will serve as the escalation point for key projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish work plans and resource requirements for multiple parallel projects, utilizing tools such as SmartSheet, Jira, Confluence, Service Now, Excel, and MS Office Suite.
- Collaborate directly with Agile, SCRUM, and Appcast development teams responsible for foundational software components and services, including web applications, modern UI frameworks, cloud-based web services, and content management platforms.
- Responsible for Tracking and managing the creation of functional designs, evaluating risks and benefits of alternate designs, and calculating costs/benefits for decision-making.
- Assess the impact of system changes on users, customers, and stakeholders.
- Drive momentum and urgency among all project participants, proactively identifying, mitigating, and resolving risks related to the project work plan.
- Take accountability for reporting progress to the PMO, Steering Committee, and Executives.
- Develop and execute Change Management plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge in project planning utilizing formal project management methodology and tools in Agile environments
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and work across multiple teams.
- Proven expertise in creating accurate and regular reporting and documentation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- PMP certifications or PM coursework preferred but not required.
- 5 years’ experience in project planning, ideally within Ad Tech
