About the Role
The Senior Talent Development Portfolio Manager for Career Development builds and is responsible for a portfolio of solutions designed to scale career development enablement across the entire organization.
You will build and deploy high impact solutions in alignment with Workday’s Career Development approach with the goal of ensuring Workmates have access and opportunity to set career goals, seek opportunities to learn new skills, and to explore opportunities to gain experience and exposure across the organization.
You will spend time with Talent Management, learning and development, HR support, and Workday systems analysts to create solutions that are easy to use and powered by our own Workday product.
This role will be responsible for:
Develop and implement a strategy for scaling career development enablement across the enterprise, focusing on Workmates, people leaders, and executives.
Own and manage key products, including the Career Hub and Gigs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our workforce.
Design and curate engaging career development curriculum and enablement channels, using a variety of formats and delivery methods.
Reinvent and evolve career frameworks to align with Workday's talent philosophy and business objectives.
Research and develop success profiles for Workday’s most critical roles and design templates for key developmental experiences.
Leverage skill inventories to identify development opportunities and personalize career paths for Workmates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and enhance the impact of career development initiatives.
Stay on top of industry best practices and emerging trends in career development.
Measure the effectiveness of career development programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
About You
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Leadership Development, Learning and Development, Talent Management, or HR functions.
Other Qualifications
Experience in crafting, developing, and implementing career development programs.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in talent development.
Experience owning and managing technology products, preferably Workday product knowledge in the HR or talent management space.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and in matrixed structures.
Data-driven mentality with the ability to analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvement.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $117,000 USD - $175,600 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,200 USD - $197,600 USD
