Summary:
Knowledge is at the core of what Deel sells: the ability to confidently hire, pay, and manage workers globally. The Knowledge team builds and maintains the systems that make this possible, surfacing the right information at the right time across Deel’s platform.
We own and operate:
Product Knowledge Base: The canonical source of truth for how Deel’s platform works - used by internal teams and clients.
Country Knowledge Base: A globally maintained dataset that informs how to hire and operate in 100+ countries - from minimum wages to tax rules, time off, parental leave, and more.
We also power client-facing experiences (like Deel AI and the Knowledge Hub), fuel internal workflows, and serve as a critical asset in GTM, support, and platform logic.
Responsibilities:
Leading a key product division at Deel. You'll own the Knowledge Hub, CMS, and AI-powered knowledge distribution tools - used by thousands of customers and internal agents daily.
Managing multiple product teams, each made up of PMs, Designers, Engineers (FE/BE), QA, Analysts, and Ops - ensuring cross-functional alignment and high performance.
Driving the automation and intelligent maintenance of large-scale, ever-changing content systems, especially around global labor laws and compliance data.
Collaborating closely with engineering, content, AI, design, legal, support, and GTM stakeholders to deliver powerful backend systems and polished frontend experiences.
Shaping how knowledge is structured, stored, and distributed - from schema design to UX surface.
Elevating Deel’s UI quality by using the Knowledge Hub as a flagship product for design and usability.
Balancing internal efficiency (CMS) with external delight (Hub, AI, and embedded surfaces).
Keeping your team unblocked and empowered - whether through strategic leadership or rolling up your sleeves for hands-on work when needed.
Driving clarity and rhythm within the team - managing planning, priorities, and execution through structured, lightweight agile practices.
Building industry-leading solutions in a high-dependency environment where precision, scalability, and speed all matter.
Qualifications:
Have 8–10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including at least 2 years as a Lead Product Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (start-up or scale-up experience strongly preferred).
Have a strong track record of owning complex internal and external products end-to-end.
Bring experience working on content platforms, structured data, CMSs, or AI-powered search.
Are hands-on when needed, but know how to empower others and keep things moving at pace.
Think in systems, abstractions, and schemas - and love working closely with engineers to bring them to life.
Are skilled at managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders across teams.
Have a deep understanding of Product, Design, and how to work with Leadership to drive clarity and alignment.
Communicate clearly and persuasively, you can turn chaos into clarity and help others do the same.
Know how to take in a wide range of input and distill it into sharp, actionable roadmaps.
Are comfortable saying “no,” but always with empathy and a better path forward.
Have a high bar for quality, whether it's content precision, frontend UX, or technical integrity.
Are a natural operator who keeps things running smoothly without introducing unnecessary processes.
Can run clean, effective agile ceremonies and adapt them to suit your team’s working style.
Are ideally based in EMEA or the Americas (ET timezone), and are comfortable working in a fully remote team.
Bonus If You:
Have experience with AI/LLM tooling, automated knowledge extraction, or legal/tax tech.
Have worked in global HR, payroll, or SaaS with structured compliance knowledge.
Have partnered with support, content, or legal ops teams at scale.
