The Compensation and HRIS Manager plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at Union Health.
The Compensation and HRIS Manager will lead strategic and operational oversight of the compensation programs and HRIS across Union Health. This role ensures competitive and equitable compensation practices as well as maintains HR systems that support effective talent management, workforce analytics, and compliance. This role will work closely and in coordination with the entire HR team.

Compensation and HRIS Manager Details
Essential Job Duties:
-
Oversee hospital-wide compensation system, monitor criteria-based performance evaluation system.
-
Design, implement and manage compensation structures, salary ranges, and incentive programs.
-
Monitor effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and organizational goals.

Oversee participation in salary surveys.
-
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
-
Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
-
Ensure compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and legal and regulatory requirements.
-
Member of compensation committee.
-
Oversee and maintain internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, and integrity.
-
Design and implement secure, efficient, and accurate methods and systems to appropriately use and report data across HR teams and the organization.
-
Serve as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Systems, external vendors, and other stakeholders for the HR database design and implementation projects.

Compile or assist with complex data reports and summaries requested by executive leaders and HR staff.

Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.

Maintain knowledge of trends and development in data management and security, HR technology and HRIS applications.

Assess current systems and utilization, identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency.

Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to the HR director and other leaders.

Promote proactive approaches using the organization’s HRIS to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of HRIS capabilities.

Negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT department as appropriate based on business and software/hardware needs.

Integrate policies, procedures, and HR expertise in advising and consulting others.

Work across HR teams in a way that supports teamwork, respect and collegiality.

Foster an environment of innovation and provides new ideas and opportunities.

Champions change and remain agile to the needs of the team and organization.

Provide support for potential efforts related to acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers. Successfully collaborate within Union Health and with third-party entities to provide a smooth transition for impacted co-workers, departments, and leaders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience.

Knowledge of statistics, mathematics, accounting or computer science of equivalent work is beneficial.

Experience with HR Information Systems and Human Capital Management Systems
-
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
