About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Strategist to identify & deliver strategies that fuel the growth of the Workday platform and developer ecosystem.
In this highly visible and hands-on role, reporting to GM, Extend, you will:
Be a change agent for Workday by devising and driving cross-functional strategies and initiatives that fuel Workday platform innovation, growth, and monetization.
Defining and communicating strategy, progress and results at executive and organizational levels.
Leverage exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and communications skills to improve outcomes and delivery speed.
Stay ahead of the dynamic market landscape by anticipating market shifts and developing alternative strategic options.
About You
Basic Qualifications Sr Principal Product Strategist:
7+ years or equivalent experience in business strategy, platform development, or strategy consulting roles.
Understanding of enterprise platform technologies and ecosystems.
Experience managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
Experience leading and launching cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Product Strategist:
5+ years or equivalent experience in business strategy, platform development, or strategy consulting roles.
Understanding of enterprise platform technologies and ecosystems.
Experience managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
Experience leading and launching cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to explore and research ambiguous problem spaces, using data analysis to create actionable and impactful initiatives.
Ability to build cross-functional connections, influence others, and deliver value in a matrixed environment.
High-ownership approach to drive end-to-end projects with complete, accurate and timely delivery of analyses and project objectives.
Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Experience defining monetization strategies for technology products.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
