About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic Senior Financial Analyst to support our Global Real Estate and Workplace team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial background, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance. This role will involve overseeing lease accounting, collaborating on long-term real estate planning, managing operating and capital expenses, and fostering strategic business partnerships within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Facilities and Real Estate Planning:
Collaborate with the Facilities team to develop and implement financial plans aligned with long-term real estate goals.
Analyze lease agreements, assess financial implications, and provide strategic recommendations.
Strategic Business Partnership:
Act as a key financial partner to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to support management decisions.
Lease Accounting:
Collaborate with accounting teams to facilitate the proper accounting treatment of leases
Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842) and maintain accurate lease records.
Expense Management:
Oversee the management of operating expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
Monitor and analyze variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
Capital Expenses:
Manage the budgeting and forecasting of capital expenditures.
Evaluate capital projects, providing financial analysis to support investment decisions.
Headcount Planning:
Collaborate with HR and department heads on headcount planning and budgeting.
Analyze staffing needs, trends, and related financial impacts.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
6 years of proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis, and strategic financial planning.
Other Qualifications:
MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
Strong understanding of lease accounting standards (ASC 842).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective business partnerships.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
