Description
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead and oversee critical HR system projects for our client located in Metairie, Louisiana. This role requires a strong background in HR processes, payroll systems, and HRIS implementation to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals. This is a long-term contract position based in Metairie, Louisiana, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful organizational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and execution of HRIS system implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to gather requirements and align system functions with business needs.
• Oversee the migration of data and ensure system accuracy throughout the implementation process.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Develop and deliver training materials to end users, ensuring effective adoption of the new system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies throughout the project.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to address technical challenges and achieve project goals.
• Analyze HR and payroll processes to identify opportunities for improvement and system optimization.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for HRIS systems post-implementation.
Requirements • Proven experience managing HRIS implementation or conversion projects, including payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Familiarity with UKG Pro and UKG Ready systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent project management skills, including budget management and resource allocation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HRIS data analysis and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
