Job OverviewThe Manager, Events will lead our Events Team in the strategic development, planning, execution, and evaluation of all internal and external iCIMS events. This role is responsible for driving event strategy, ensuring flawless execution, and delivering impactful experiences that align with brand goals and business objectives.

Responsibilities- Oversee the team’s execution of events including venue selection, invite campaigns, travel coordination, shipping, onsite execution, and post-event debriefs.
- Identify new event opportunities; define a process for assessing the business value of new events, presenting the recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Own Prospect event calendar and field events strategy to support pipeline build and sales funnel progression goals
- Develop a playbook of Customer and Prospect event strategies to establish the standard for future events
- Manage the creation of event briefs, including attending competitor analysis, sales alignment, preparation and support.
- Oversee individual and total event budgets, including measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to devise follow up and nurture campaigns for all event leads.
- Leverage Salesforce to track performance and analyze event success against lead goals – report regularly on results.
- Continuous evaluation and iteration of best practices that will drive the highest business value and improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support iCIMS employee events as needed.
- Maintain a high-performance team and work environment enabling operational objectives and acquisition/retention of talent to fulfill team mission successfully and cost-effectively.
- Manage team members’ performance including formal reviews and development plans
- Structure appropriate training and development to eliminate roadblocks to team performance to execute the strategic direction of the department and motivate the team to deliver consistent results.
Qualifications- 5 years of experience managing corporate events, including in-person and virtual events
- Proven leadership skills with experience building and growing high performing teams
- Strong aptitude in organizational skills including project management and time management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of approachability and the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working in a high growth, fast-paced changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Strong organization skills
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful events
- Ability to analyze lead data, understand results, and optimize
- Experience managing and maintaining a significant budget
- Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter with ability to show resilience under pressure
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
Preferred- Microsoft Excel and Salesforce experience preferred
- B2B marketing experience preferred

Compensation and BenefitsWe accept applications for this position on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and qualified candidates may be contacted throughout the posting period.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000-110,000 annually. Additional compensation for this role includes a bonus eligibility, which is based on personal, department and/or company performance, where applicable. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
