Summary/objective
The VP of Partner Relations leads the partner engagement strategy and execution across national, network, broker and strategic accounts. This role is accountable for team management, strategic engagement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure strong partner satisfaction and measurable business outcomes. Reporting to the SVP of Brand & Experience, this leader brings exceptional people skills and thrives in a highly collaborative environment-working hand-in-hand with internal teams to align strategy, activate shared goals and elevate partner experiences. They are a relationship builder at heart, fostering trust with stakeholders and inspiring a culture of collaboration, empathy, and mutual success. The VP of Partner Relations owns the external COI engagement program, leads national corporate and broker relationship strategies, and works closely with sales VPs and marketing leadership to implement a unified partner engagement framework.
Core Job Duties
- Lead, mentor, and manage the partner relations team toward business and engagement goals, modeling a collaborative and people-first leadership style.
- Own the partner engagement program and develop regular strategic briefings with support from the analyst relations team.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partner engagement strategy for corporate accounts and broker-level relationships, grounded in trust, transparency and alignment.
- Serve as project quarterback for partner initiatives, coordinating with shared services (content, events, communications, product, sales enablement, etc.) through open and effective communication.
- Collaborate closely with the leads of Partner Success, Channel Sales, Network Sales, and Benefit Services Sales to ensure alignment across engagement strategies and partner experiences.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for partner performance and engagement, driving continuous improvement through feedback and teamwork.
- Launch and evolve a company-wide partner engagement framework that reflects isolved's values of connection, innovation, and people empowerment.
- Strengthen retention and satisfaction across corporate accounts and brokers by prioritizing empathy, service excellence, and relational equity.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and shared services to drive unified execution.
Job Complexity

Requires in-depth knowledge of the business unit, business strategies, and the company's goals.
Interaction
Interacts internally and externally with executive and C-Level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.
Supervision
Directs and controls the activities of one or more business units, divisions, product groups, or service areas through senior leaders who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas-clear expertise as a leader and operator.
Experience
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of direct experience, with 10+ years of leadership experience. This position may require an advanced degree.
Scope
Sets direction, strategy, and vision for the business unit(s). Holds senior leaders accountable for results. Helps shape, exemplify, and hold senior leaders accountable to the management standards of the company. Approves corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Inspires senior leaders to develop innovative concepts and promote new ideas. Drives meaningful impact and improvements across multiple functions or business units; strategically plans for how people and processes scale.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in partner management or channel leadership.
- Demonstrated success leading partner engagement strategies across complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of corporate and broker relationship dynamics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a high EQ.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities in cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, 25-40% expected domestic travel may be required to attend partner engagements and on-site activities.
