Position Summary
As a Senior HRIS Workday Data/Solution Architect, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing Workday HCM solutions while considering the long-term vision of the product and organizational needs. You will also govern the design of the organization’s data architecture by defining and governing how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across the organization. You must have a proven track record implementing or administering Workday, with expert level knowledge of Workday modules and HCM business processing.
You will accomplish this by:

Translating business and technical requirements into a project and architectural blueprint that achieves desired business objectives, including identifying solutions for HCM processes including Workday product gaps and manual workarounds

Designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing an architecture strategy to meet business capabilities and needs while ensuring completeness of architecture by adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders and enterprise

Maintaining the knowledge of emerging technologies and best in class trends and practices
Required Qualifications

7-10 years overall relevant experience
-
5 or more years of data modeling and experience with data governance and data quality tools
-
5 or more years of experience working with Human Capital systems
-
3 or more years of experience working with SaaS solutions, cloud architecture, security, and integration patterns
-
3 or more years of experience working with database management systems, ETL tools, and SQL
-
5 or more years of experience working in Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Cloud Platform
Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Workday data sources, custom fields, calculated fields, and Business Intelligence Reporting Tool (BIRT)

In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM and experience with at least two or more Workday modules (Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, etc.)

Experience in leading large-scale data integration and transformation projects

5+ years of relevant experience as a Workday Solutions Architect or a similar role in a complex environment

Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST) and various data formats (XML, JSON)

Proficiency in Workday reporting and security configuration

Understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile

Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R

Familiarity with BI tools and reporting software
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or related field; equivalent work experience may substitute
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,200.00 - $170,800.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
