Job Description SummaryAs HRIS Operations Team Lead, you will play a critical role in the success of AAM HR initiatives by supporting the company's Human Resources systems. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and use of the Human Resources Information System (Workday), ensuring adequate controls for the proper safeguarding of confidential data, ensuring the integrity of accurate employee information, and for providing information, training, and technical support to system users. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Job Description
Analyze current training activities, review Workday training and customer best practices, solicit user input, and continuously improve training methods and value.
Develop training curriculum and materials (job aids, knowledge articles etc.), plan and execute classroom, group, and individual based training sessions.
Continuously look for opportunities to increase associate self-service within Workday.
Support HR effectiveness through data analytics, knowledge transfer and focused location improvements.
Lead and support numerous internal and external Workday related audits throughout the year including data privacy compliance.
Execute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual transactional based audits to support data integrity and increase transaction efficiencies.
Support HRIS operational assignments and execution including implementation, upgrades, new product research, support, and process improvement.
Partner with HR, team members and/or vendors to support and troubleshoot system issues when required.
Lead ongoing HRIS Case Management solution.
Responsible for Workday HRIS Case Management resolution.
Update and develop efficient, effective Workday support processes based on trends and patterns.
Design, develop and provide automated reports for delivery to end users where necessary utilizing Workday standard reports, HRIS custom reports and other report tools such as Discovery Boards.
Establishes project plans and manage initiatives based on defined priorities, anticipating cross-functional and cross-team collaboration opportunities, and coach team members on timely and accurate accomplishment of goals, providing access to development experiences as appropriate.
Improve HRIS job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art best practices; participating in professional societies.
Lead twice a year Workday release updates and determine support, training and process change management updates.
Serve as a strong consultative partner to business users and functional leaders for continuous improvement, change management, self-sufficiency efforts, training, and delivery.
Lead weekly or ad-hoc Workday change control process.
Perform security role assignments as required.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong technical aptitude, technology knowledge desired.
Workday knowledge preferred.
