What You Will Do
Join our dynamic team to play a key role in support of ServiceNow HR service delivery at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In this important role you will be a key member of the HRIS team whose primary focus will be the development and support of ServiceNow HR Service delivery. . Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The ServiceNow HRSD Business Analyst will work closely with HR groups and stakeholders to understand and document requirements and recommend relevant ServiceNow solutions.

Bring expertise and provide overall guidance on best practices and standards to serve LANL.

Documents, enhances and re-designs the process & procedures.

Work closely with HR stakeholders to define the process/service mission, vision, tactics, goals, objectives and KPIs for HR

Reviews stories for accurate definition & acceptance criteria

Ensures consistent execution of the process.

Prepare reports to track platform health and project team performance.

Identifies new features & functionality pertinent to the business and drives adoption.

Maintains stability and usability of the HRSD module.

Assists with testing of defect remediation.

Participates in upgrade planning and execution.

Supports entire ServiceNow development lifecycle
-
Propose solutions to achieve complex business objectives.

Lead technical conversations and assist in training and mentoring of more junior staff.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
-
Strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow platform
-
3+ years' hand on experience with the ServiceNow platform
-
Attention to detail with Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
-
Ability to work within a complex business environment and navigate complex matrixed organizations.

Highly motivated to work on large and complex solutions.

Proven ability to operate in a constant state of change, adapting style, approach, and delivery to drive to business outcomes in a pragmatic manner.

Proven ability to think innovatively in developing and executing change.

Desired Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred.

"ServiceNow System Administrator certification or ServiceNow Business Process Analyst certification
-
Proficient in identifying solutions for the ServiceNow HRSD module.

Cloud application technology experience
Education/Experience : Requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years related experience ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Location : This position will be in Los Alamos, NM with the potential for teleworking from a location within 2 hours ground commute of this location. Reporting onsite will be periodically required. Telework is at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice.

Additional Details
Directive 206.2 - Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2 (https://directives.nnsa.doe.gov/supplemental-directive/sd-0206-0002) . Clearance : Q ( Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance. and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. Receipt of a Q clearance and additional access authorization ultimately is a decision of the Federal Government and not of Triad.
*Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer.
Regular position: Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
Term position: Regular-status Laboratory employees applying for term-status positions may retain regular status with approval of the cognizant Principle Associate Director.
Internal Applicants: Regular appointment employees who have served the required period of continuous service in their current position are eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the required period of continuous service, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
