Summary
The Mary Free Bed HRIS Data Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, enhancement, efficiency and effectiveness of various HR Information Systems as well as how these systems interface with other proprietary and third-party systems/solutions. In addition, the position supports our efforts around workforce analytics by listening to our HR business partners to deliver data to the business for action.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Serves as project lead and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Builds project plans around HRIS implementation or maintenance and ensure project is on time, within budget and delivered with expected value.
Collaboratively develops scalable solutions to meet business requirements around HR systems/processes including cross-functional teams.
Develops and implements new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
Provides integration and development support for applications across the enterprise which integrates into HRIS and existing HR Technology infrastructure.
Maintain and troubleshoot integrations from HRIS to other enterprise systems, as well as implementation of updates and patches to include review and testing.
Monitors, tests, and serves as primary owner for data loads into the HRIS system (eg. Merit, Organization changes, assignment changes, etc...)
Manages and maintains the Human Resources SharePoint page.
FUNCTION
Maintains optimal function of the HR system including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Develops and maintains processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes & data
Leads testing groups prior to launch to ensure need is met. Documents process and results.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements. Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
Performing data audits on HR processes as needed.
SUPPORT
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users through research. Resolve data issues or process flaws.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
Documents processes through supporting HR concerns and compiling data analysis reports.
Consults with HR managers and other departments to determine HRIS needs. Collaborates leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and execute standardized solutions. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
DATA ANALYTICS
Generates reports/queries which includes writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Deliver and Provide dashboard analytics on insights about the effectiveness of people management practices including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, retention, turnover, talent management, mobility, career progression, diversity, etc.
CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT
Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests.
Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology. Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information s
