Overview
The Senior Analyst, HRIS Data Analytics is crucial for leveraging data to enhance HR operations and drive strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the HRIS Director, this role provides leadership in overseeing employee information collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring data integrity and managing HRIS system audits. The position involves planning, organizing, and coordinating HR Data Analytics projects and initiatives using a project management approach. Additionally, it includes the development of cost-effective HRMS applications and utilizing tools such as Fusion Data Intelligence, OTBI, and PI Publisher, while maintaining relationships with IT and HR functional areas to align HR systems with both current and future business needs, supporting organizational goals and improving the employee experience.
This role leads the data analytics workstream required to translate raw people data, analytics and statistics into data-driven insights to shape our people strategy and drive business growth. This is a high-impact role that will work closely with senior leaders and influence strategies related to talent management, succession planning, culture and the employee experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

Act as a subject matter leader by supporting and mentoring data analysts and report developers, fostering best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Support colleagues in Oracle HCM analytics by sharing best practices, reviewing work, and offering feedback to strengthen data accuracy and professional skills.

Collaborate with team members in Oracle HCM reporting and analytics by advising on best practices, supporting skill development, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely project deliverables.

Data Integration and Management:
-
Oversee and manage the integration of data from various sources into Oracle HCM Cloud.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across FAW, OTBI, and BI Publisher.

Reporting and Analytics Development:
-
Design and develop custom reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and FAW to support business needs.

Create and maintain standard reports and ad-hoc analyses for HR and business stakeholders.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions.

Manage or support projects related to system upgrades, new report developments, or integrations.

Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting and analytics requirements.

Translate business needs into technical specifications for reports and dashboards.

Data Quality Assurance:
-
Conduct regular audits and data quality checks to ensure the reliability of data used in reports and analytics.

Implement data cleansing processes as necessary.

System Configuration and Optimization:
-
Configure and optimize Oracle HCM Cloud modules to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

Ensure that system settings align with reporting requirements and business processes.
Education and Experience:

Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Area of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems

Minimum Years of Experience: 7

Type of Experience:

Progressive HRIS experience required, including working with global HR Systems applications that support compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent management (e.g., performance management, succession planning), learning management, payroll, time & attendance, interfaces and management reporting

Experience implementing/managing HR systems ex. Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.

Experience with Reporting & Fusion Data Intellgence tools (e.g., OTBI, PowerBI, Cognos, Snowflake, OBIEE, etc.) and experience leveraging data to support fact-based decisions

Expert Excel skills with strong proficiency in MS Office applications - Word, Access, and PowerPoint

Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Strong technical competence with extensive experience transforming complex business problems and processes into simple technical solutions.

Skills & Abilities:

Implementation or strong working knowledge of HRIS/ATS/LMS systems from Oracle HCM Cloud or Workday

Strong software integration experience

Experience in improving HRIS and related systems

Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle EBS, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) OTBI, Power BI

Additional Language Skills: Must speak and understand English fluently

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $78,800/year to $123,100/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
