As anAssociate on the Insurance Benefits team, you will help ensure the best possible customer benefits experience by collaborating with Analysts to improve processes, help Sales and Onboarding teams get new companies set up, and resolve client issues with our Customer Success teams; all while owning the day-to-day tasks associated with managing large group insurance benefits.

Day-to-Day Operational Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operations for medical, dental, and vision benefits as part of Justworks Benefits Programs
- Identify and escalate issues impacting these benefits and support resolution with senior members, internal and external stakeholders, including product and engineering teams as needed
- Resolve member eligibility and benefit issues in relation to our medical, dental, and vision products, adhering to our agreed-upon SLA for each request
- Perform outreach and follow-up to external and internal partners through appropriate communication channels to resolve issues
- Review and resolve recurring error reports provided by insurance carriers, partnering with internal stakeholders as needed
- Assist senior team members in building out internal benefit resources (help articles, training decks, etc.)
- Develop creative solutions for new issues with assistance from supervisors using available resources and systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Partner with our Customer Service Organization, Product Support Specialists, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
- Perform other related responsibilities as needed based on department and/or organizational needs

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role (operations, onboarding role, or customer service-related field preferred)
- Knowledge of Excel or equivalent required; SQL knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of employer-sponsored benefit plans strongly preferred
- Knowledge of insurance operations a plus
- Experience breaking down complex concepts to core details preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Process-driven and technologically savvy
- Ability to work as part of a team
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at an hourly rate of $28.85 - $31.74.
