Job Description
As the Principal Product Manager at Appcast, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our platform, mitigating fraud and defining the role of AI across our product portfolio. You will be responsible for the core platform governing our product, driving growth for niche products and leading AI integration by defining critical features and shaping the roadmap to achieve high-scale, high-performance to our customers and partners.
Job Responsibilities
Product Execution and Strategy
- Deliver some of the highest impact projects in the company focused on strategic initiatives
- Own, on a solo basis, a key project or key focus area for the company and delivering with little, to no, oversight
- Develop a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with market trends, organizational goals and customer needs
- Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging user feedback to uncover unmet needs and validate new concepts
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
- Drive meaningful outcomes for the business by connecting product functionality to strategic objectives
- Identify when to slow or stop investment in areas with diminishing returns
Leadership and Management Support
- Guide the team in producing clear, customer-focused requirements documents and product specifications
- Support team members in making tough trade-off decisions for successful launches and iterations
- Ensure continuous improvement in product quality across the team
- Help team members identify and manage project stakeholders
- Build broad support for team projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing
Stakeholder Management
- Influence strategic decisions with senior leadership
- Advocate for prioritization and resourcing decisions across the organization
- Garner senior leadership visibility and support for team progress and initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategies with organizational goals
- Balance diverse stakeholder needs effectively, including internal teams and external partners
- Engage directly with key customers as a subject matter expert on product matters
- Represent the product and company in high-level customer meetings and industry events
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact products
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Data-driven decision-making skills
- Deep understanding of user experience design principles
- Strategic thinking and vision-setting capabilities
Education and Experience
- 8-10 years in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role.
- Proven experience with paid/programmatic advertising and retargeting technologies
- Proven track record in scaling platforms, integrating AI features, and managing niche products.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Advanced Studies: Courses or certifications in AI, machine learning, data science, or product management.
